Student Poster Competition - Awards

In celebration of the Canadian Rural Health Research Society’s (CRHRS) 10th anniversary, the Board of CRHRS sponsored a “student poster competition”.  Students who entered the competition were judged by a panel based on Quality, Evidence, Illustrations, and overall Appearance.   There was first, second and third place recognition with first Place poster receiving a $100.00 prize.

2nd Place:
Janna Schurer, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, PHARE Masters student
Title: Bridging the gap: Parasitic zoonoses in Canadian indigenous communities

3rd Place:
Mohammad Z. Haque, School of Public Health, University of Saskatchewan, Masters Student
Title:  Development of Respiratory Resources for Saskatchewan Farm Families
